Riccardo Zacconi was the main man behind it.
He nearly went bankrupt in 2003 and came close to shutting it down. But something happened, and they survived.
He then had to build multiple games, which failed to take off and finally Candy Crush Saga came and it became a global cultural phenomenon, and its popularity still hasn’t waned. They developed many more popular games too.
He finally sold it for $5.9 billion and all the co-founders became multi-millionaires.
